ok hmmmm...anthony.
something tells me you're not the one you claim to be.
not that i'm being suspicious, many big names browse this site and that is....possible that you are him.
but still,i don't have a good feeling about this..
let's manage the suspens and have a little scooby-doo ending.
p.s:now i'm hoping it's not really him otherwise...

Groovissimo, I went to Michels site but was unable to click on any links for the videos. It said "click on an image to download" and there were no images....

Anthony Jackson has been banned!!
If it is the real one he can email me and I will restore the account when I'm convinced it's him.

"Anthony Jackson has been banned!" Ha ha Steve, you crack me up man! Speaking of AJ though, anybody checked out Michel's "Triangulo"? Horacio sounds great along with Anthony. Also for fun, Simon Phillips has some play-along tracks that come from the video transcription books featuring Anthony. I like hearing how locked in he is with the click. Pretty scary! There is a cool 6/4 double bass shuffle that is a blast to play along with! I also heard this Buddy Rich small group recording in the 70's called "Tuff Dude". (I think they renamed it with the cd reissue) This also features AJ. However he hadn't really developed his signature sound yet. He sounds great. Always impressive! PS. How can we have an Anthony thread without at LEAST mentioning the classic Ojays tune "For the love of money"? Still a wonderfully original bass groove after all of these years!

Because his part is such an integral part of the tune, Anthony Jackson did get a piece of "For the love of money".
-One of the few times a Bass player saw any money for coming up with a bass part.

i read that he uses a FM Acoustic AMP (mama mia), for his playing, just this fact alone made me wonder since i have the same brand in the studio.
